About this role
Are you interested in building the flagship platform for the most exciting banking startup in Asia? We're looking for extraordinary leads who are passionate about designing and delivering incredible user experiences that will revolutionize the way people handle their finances.
You should be a passionate engineer experienced in working with product managers, designers, and other engineers, who want to work on a supportive and highly collaborative team.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical guidance and leadership to multiple interdisciplinary squads consisting of frontend (Android) and backend (Golang, Python) engineers
- Provide strategic guidance on longer-term architectural decisions, such as coding patterns/paradigms
- Participate in the implementation of code/functionality from the design document stage to implementation/code review/testing
- 25-50% daily hands-on coding, handling the development backlog
- Design, implement, and optimize CI/CD pipelines and automated testing methodologies (unit, integration, end-to-end)
- Collaborate with product and design teams to build a delightful user experience
Qualifications
- Familiarity with server-side and infrastructure platforms - ideally Golang, Python, and Terraform
- Experience shipping high-user-count/scalable apps
- Strong grasp of software design patterns
- Experience building and maintaining testable code bases, including API design, testing techniques, and CI/CD
- Passionate about scalable/distributed architectures (microservices, event-driven architectures, et al)

- This position is based in our Bangkok office
- We prefer to collaborate in person and don’t offer remote work
- As an international team, English language proficiency is required
