Who You Are:
As the Partnerships Lead, you will be responsible for identifying, developing, and managing strategic partnerships that drive growth, enhance customer value, and strengthen our competitive advantage. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and execute initiatives that leverage partner relationships to expand our market presence, improve cardholder benefits, and increase customer engagement.
What You Will Do:
- Partnership Strategy: Develop and execute a comprehensive partnership strategy aligned with business goals, focusing on acquisition, rewards programs card holder benefits, unique strategics co-branding opportunities, and partner relationships.
- Business Development: Identify, negotiate, and establish partnerships with merchants, fintech companies, financial institutions, airlines, hotels, e-commerce, bank, insurance companies & insurance tech, government entity, service providers, and other strategic partners.
- Relationship Management: Maintain and strengthen relationships with key partners to ensure long-term success, driving mutual value and growth.
- Contract Negotiation: Lead negotiations of partnership agreements, ensuring favorable terms, compliance, and alignment with company objectives.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, product, analytics, engineering technology and legal teams to ensure seamless implementation and execution of partnership initiatives.
- Performance Tracking & Ownerships: own the target and deliver the business partnerships. Also monitor, analyze, and report on the performance of partnerships, leveraging data to optimize strategies and maximize ROI.
- Industry Trends & Innovation: Stay informed across credit cards, buy now pay later, and digital loan cash providers. About market trends, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities in the payments and financial services ecosystem.
What You Need to Have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or a related field; MBA is a plus.
- 10+ years of experience in partnerships, business development, or strategic alliances within the credit card, payments, fintech, or financial services industry.
- Strong negotiation, contract management, and relationship-building skills.
- Experience in structuring and executing complex deals with multiple stakeholders.
- Data-driven mindset with the ability to analyze performance metrics and adjust strategies accordingly.
- Track record of having launch and scale partnerships successfully.
- Deep understanding of the cards and payments/ digital lending and fintech space.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence internal and external stakeholders.
- Self-motivated, strategic thinker with a results-oriented approach.
