About this Role
Are you interested in building the flagship Android app for one of Asia's most exciting fintech companies? We seek an exceptional senior or lead engineer passionate about designing and delivering incredible user experiences that will revolutionize how people manage their finances.
You will work alongside highly experienced and passionate individuals as part of a supportive and collaborative team. Our company is expanding, and we are already live with our product, making it an exciting time to join us.
Responsibilities:
Develop a high-quality, native Android application.
Engage in daily hands-on coding tasks to address the development backlog
Design and implement automated testing methodologies, including unit, integration, automation, and snapshot testing
Collaborate to integrate the app with backend APIs
Work closely with product and design teams to create a delightful mobile experience
Qualifications:
Minimum 5 years of experience in shipping native Android apps to Google Play
Experience building and maintaining testable code bases, including API design and testing techniques
Strong understanding of the intricacies of the Android lifecycle
Skills:
In-depth understanding of Android development
Proficiency in Kotlin and Coroutines
Knowledge of Android Jetpack and AndroidX libraries
Familiarity with Android fragmentation management
Understanding of Material Design principles
- This position is based in our Bangkok office
- We prefer to collaborate in person and don't offer remote work
- As an international team, English language proficiency is required
