Position Overview:
The Vendor Management is responsible for managing and overseeing relationships with vendors and suppliers (mostly Technology and IT Vendors). This role involves overview, ensuring vendor compliance with service agreements, and managing risks associated with third-party vendors. The Vendor Management will work closely with internal stakeholders (Credit, Product, and Technology Team) to align vendor services with the organization’s strategy and goals.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Vendor Selection & Onboarding:
  • Manage the Request for Proposal (RFP) and Request for Information (RFI) processes.
  • Facilitate the onboarding process of new vendors, ensuring compliance with company policies and standards.
  • Contract Management:
  • Negotiate vendor contracts, including pricing, service levels, and terms and conditions.
  • Manage and maintain vendor contracts, ensuring timely renewals or terminations.
  • Ensure all contract terms are clearly defined and understood by both parties.
  • Risk Management:
  • Identify and assess risks associated with vendors, including financial, operational, and compliance risks.
  • Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies.
  • Monitor vendor compliance with industry regulations, company policies, and contractual obligations.
  • Cost Management:
  • Oversee the budgeting and financial management of vendor contracts.
  • Conduct cost-benefit analyses to ensure that vendor services provide value for money.
  • Identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration:
  • Work closely with internal departments, including Credit, Product, and Technology, to ensure vendor services align with organizational goals.
  • Act as a point of contact for vendors, facilitating communication and resolving any issues.
  • Reporting & Documentation:
  • Maintain accurate records of vendor contracts, communications, and performance metrics.
  • Prepare regular reports for senior management on vendor performance, costs, and risks.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in vendor management.
Qualifications:
  • Education:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
  • Experience:
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in Vendor Management, Procurement, or IT Project Management.
  • Proven experience in negotiating and managing complex vendor contracts.
  • Experience in managing vendor relationships in a large-scale, multi-vendor environment.
  • Experience in Multi-finance Company is a plus.
  • Skills:
  • Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Knowledge of IT systems, software, and services.
  • Ability to manage multiple vendors and projects simultaneously.
  • Familiarity with risk management and regulatory compliance.
  • Certifications:
  • Certified Vendor Management Professional (CVMP) or similar certification is preferred.
  • ITIL, PMP, or relevant IT certifications are a plus.
