Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Legal Counsel to join our dynamic financial technology company specializing in innovative credit card solutions. In this role, you will be responsible for providing legal guidance and support across all aspects of our operations, ensuring compliance with Indonesian laws and financial services regulations. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to draft, review, and negotiate contracts, manage regulatory relationships, advise on product launches, and mitigate legal risks. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to a fast-growing fintech environment, shaping the future of digital credit card products in Indonesia.
Key Responsibilities:
- Draft, review, and revise contracts in Bahasa Indonesia and English.
- Handle corporate secretarial matters, including preparation of minutes, resolutions, statutory filings, and maintaining corporate records.
- Caretake corporate-level meetings (e.g., Board of Directors, Board of Commissioners, shareholders), including scheduling, preparing materials, and taking formal minutes.
- Maintain and update vendor contracts and corporate registers.
- Monitor and summarize legal and regulatory developments relevant to the business.
- Support internal teams on legal matters related to products, partnerships, and operations.
- Assist in fast-moving, high-impact projects requiring legal input and coordination across multiple departments.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Law (Sarjana Hukum).
- 3–5 years’ experience in a law firm or in-house role (experience in fintech, tech, banking, or multi-finance preferred).
- Comfortable with legal drafting in English and Bahasa Indonesia.
- Knowledge of corporate secretarial processes for multi-finance companies under Indonesian Company Law.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, including in minute-taking and document management.
